Energy Secretary Steven Chu testifies on Capitol Hill in Washington, Tuesday, March 15, 2011, before the House subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, and Related Agencies. Chu told the subcommittee that Americans should have full confidence that U.S. nuclear power plants are operating safely and responsibly. But Chu also said that the administration is committed to learning from the Japanese incident.
